Chairman's Message

Baroda Gujarat Gramin Bank was founded on 12th September, 2005 by amalgamating -03- erstwhile RRBs. Bank has -128- branches as on date of amalgamation having two Regional Offices, in Central & South Gujarat among -12- districts and total business of Rs.801 Crore and -518- employees.

I am indeed happy to share amongst you that after taking over charge of the bank on 20th, September,2014 the bank has further expanded in a faster way in respect of financial &non-financial terms.The Bank has surpassed the total Business level of Rs. 3607 crore (i.e. more than 3.5 times in a less than 10 years) catering to all segments of an ever growing clientele base of more than 15 lac, -210- branches in -14- districts with -727- employees as on 30th June, 2015.

With a balance sheet size of Rs. 3607 crore as on 30th June, 2015, Baroda Gujarat Gramin bank has achieved consistent growth and stable asset quality with a 10 year CAGR (2005-15) of 16.31 % in Total Deposits, 16.10 % in Total Advances and 15.57 % in Net Profit.Bank has expanded by opening of 33 branches in last financial year.We have opened record number of 14 branches on a single day i.e. on 9th,March,2015.Our third regional office at Vadodara is also operationalized on 20th,July,2015,making three regions i.e. Godhra,Valsad & Vadodara.This step of administrative expansion will cater needs of our customers & employees in more effective & speedy manner.

Baroda Gujarat Gramin Bank aiming for achieving new heights with impressive share in the growth of the 14 districts of Gujarat State and our priorities are:

- Expansion of branch network across the area of operations of bank with a view to further boost socio-economic objective of our Parent Bank, State government & Government of India and we too.

- Our focus is to build up Bank's Investment Credit for Agriculture activities for sustainable growth of this sector.

- To increase Bank's presence in services sector by promoting Housing, SRTO, Education, MSME etc.

- To provide innovative services with quality in line with customer expectations and transform the customer banking experience into a fruitful, trouble-free and comfortable environment.

- To play pivotal role in the area of financial growth in the area of operation.

- Our bank has also launched "Mega Financial Literacy Drive i.e. 500 Street plays in 500 Villages" by which we desire to impart financial literacy amongst Rural people for their betterment of life.

- Bank is participating in a big way under recently launched social Schemes of Govt. of India PradhanMantri Jan DhanYojna (PMJDY), PradhanMantriSurakshaBimaYojna (PMSBY), PradhanMantriJivanJyotBimaYojna (PMJJBY), Atal Pension Yojana(APY) &PradhanMantri MUDRAYojna.

- AADHAR enabled payment systems,Micro ATMs will be in place.

- Rupay Debit Card & Rupay Kisan Credit Card to each & every active Savings/KCC account holders.

- Mobile banking, IMPS & Internet banking will be provided very soon.

- Capacity building of the staff - enhances employee's professional skills and strengthens cohesiveness by undertaking various initiatives towards capacity building of staff.
